This collection of rock and pop music focuses on the recorder.

It offers the original music of the Cd Kaleidoscope by Vintgar, largely composed by Nik & Aleks Tarasov. Due to its length it has been issued in two volumes.

Volume 1 contains the following titles:

• Vintgar
• Maiden of the Smile
• The Windhover
• Fairies Robbing an Orchard
• Wolken
• The Glove and the Lions

The purchase of these play-alongs includes the main recorder part in notation, as well as the licence to download the original accompaniment of the Cd – either for playing yourself, or for studying the new repertoire.
The recorder part ranges from easy to difficult; different sizes of recorder alternate (soprano to tenor), these also include the Modern Harmonic Recorders and the ‘Elody‘. In Volume 1, the journey leads stylistically through a range of ballads for chilling out, including a song with an Irish touch, art rock with the typical progressive and hard material, a dance floor piece in waltz rhythm, an electro-pop piece, a dixieland hit as well as a Rock’n Roll seafarer’s song.  If you would like to listen to the complete original music you will find the Cd Kaleidoscope here in our online shop.

The recorder part ranges from easy to difficult; different sizes of recorder alternate (soprano to bass), also including the Modern Harmonic Recorders and the ‘Elody‘. In Volume 2, the journey takes us stylistically through world music: Scottish variations, Irish dances, a Jazz ballad, a melodic piece with an atmospheric guitar accompaniment, a swing piece as well as an excessive blues rock ballad with a never-ending solo.
